Activating PasteZero

1. Buy PasteZero. You'll land on a thank-you page and get a confirmation email.
2. Install PasteZero if you haven't already, and drag it into your Applications folder.
3. Click Activate PasteZero on the thank-you page or in your email. PasteZero opens and unlocks itself.

Copy the activation link instead. In PasteZero, click Activate PasteZero, paste the link into the field, and click Activate. This works exactly the same way.

If nothing happens at all, check that PasteZero is in your Applications folder and has been opened at least once, macOS only routes activation links to an app it knows about.

Activation links can be used once and expire after 60 minutes. That's deliberate, it keeps your purchase from being claimed by someone else.

Try it anyway: when PasteZero sees an expired link it asks us to email you a fresh one, and tells you which address it went to. Nothing is lost.

PasteZero remembers your purchase using a PasteZero ID. If it survived, activation is automatic and you won't have to do anything.

If it didn't, request a new activation link (see above) or, if you still have another Mac with PasteZero working, copy its PasteZero ID from Settings › Activation and paste it into the new install under Already activated on another Mac?

Open PasteZero on the Mac where it already works, go to Settings › Activation, and copy the PasteZero ID. On the second Mac, open PasteZero, click Activate PasteZero, expand Already activated on another Mac?, and paste it in.

That activation link has already been claimed by a different PasteZero ID, usually another Mac of yours. Use the PasteZero ID method above, or email us and we'll sort it out.
